What to Expect:

The initial intake and Individual Counseling sessions typically last for 50 minutes.  Longer and shorter sessions are available upon discussion with your therapist. During the intake procedure your therapist will ask you questions about your history, family, relationships, work, school, and health in order to understand a full picture of what is going on in your life.  In collaboration, you and your therapist will explore and identify what is getting in the way of your reaching your desired life and set goals to work on in following sessions.
