Hi, I’m Bennett!
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. You might also call me a relentless truth seeker and soul excavator. I help people who long to feel fully connected to life, their body, and their world but are buried beneath uncertainty about how to change and hesitant to trust they can survive the changes they long to make.
So you are probably asking yourself…“How do I know this person can help me?”
For starters, I am deeply and soulfully passionate about my work as a therapist. This work is about me living out my joy. I make myself fully present in every interaction, whether face-to-face, by phone, or email/text. I go above and beyond, roll up my sleeves, and jump all the way in, with you!
I’ve been there on the other side. I know from my own path to wellness that the leap into therapy can feel like free falling; absolutely terrifying. And, I know that on the other side of that fear, I found a freedom like never before. I know you can, too!
I am not a ‘easy’ therapist. I won’t just agree with you and tell you what you want to hear. I will push you. I will challenge willful behavior. And, I will support you and bolster you so you can reach and recognize your deepest gifts. I will laugh with you as you discover new things about yourself and claim joy and space in your life. Together we will find your wisest self and learn to trust your insight.
I’m SUPER passionate working with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, body image, and those who struggle with self harm and suicidal thoughts. I believe learning to trust yourself and your inner wisdom will change the world. I invite you to reach out and call or email me today.
I empower clients to live in line with their deepest values so they can embrace the life their wise heart and mind desires.
I have been thoroughly trained in
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) by Treatment Implementation Collaborative
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) by founder Steven Hayes
- Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for the treatment of trauma

Depending on what you might need out of counseling, I will use an integrative approach to help you reach your goals and assist you to connect deeply with your values. For many people, a comprehensive DBT program can target long-standing behaviors that you are ready to change. Please read the DBT tab to learn more.
